Royal Prince Alfred is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and Dame Edith Walker Hospitals. RPAH is one of Australia's leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.
The function of this position is to provide assistance to Nurses, Midwives and other staff in clinical units to ensure overall functioning of the service. This is a support role with a scope of duties that encompasses tidying, cleaning, stocking and errands as required.
Ideal Candidate
Able to maintain safe work practice, and adhere to WHS policies and procedures.
Has awareness of Infection Control principles and Manual Handling principles.
Recent experience working in the hospital setting.
