About the role
Hot Vapour Cleaning is looking for a reliable and trustworthy Commercial Cleaner to join our small team for regular evening cleaning in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
This is an ongoing casual position of approximately 7 hours per week:
- Tuesday evening – approximately 2 hours
- Friday evening – approximately 5 hours
- $38.00 per hour + superannuation
Applicants must be available every Tuesday and Friday evening. Friday cleaning must be completed on Friday evening as scheduled with our clients.
The role involves cleaning commercial offices and medical premises. After training, you will be trusted to work independently and will have access to client premises after hours.
Duties include:
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Cleaning toilets, kitchens and common areas
- Dusting and general office cleaning
- Emptying rubbish bins
- Restocking toilet paper, hand towels and other consumables
- Following site-specific cleaning instructions and checklists
What we're looking for:
- Reliable and punctual
- Honest and trustworthy
- Able to work independently after training
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Own reliable vehicle and current driver's licence
- Current National Police Check
- Right to work in Australia
- Comfortable accurately recording start and finish times for each site
Commercial cleaning experience is preferred, although training will be provided to the right person.
We are a small established cleaning business with long-term clients. We are looking for someone who values reliability, consistency and doing the right thing when working independently in our clients' premises.
