About the opportunity
With an established portfolio, strong delivery capability and significant opportunity across the market, we are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead Abergeldie’s NSW and ACT Utilities business.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership team, reporting to the Executive General Manager, you will have full accountability for performance, growth and delivery across NSW and ACT. This includes driving safe and profitable delivery across current projects and programs, building and leading high-performing teams, strengthening commercial outcomes and securing targeted new opportunities that align with our growth strategy and commercial priorities.
Building on Abergeldie’s capability and market position, you will play a key role in shaping a differentiated value offering for clients and continuing to position the business as a trusted long-term delivery partner across the NSW and ACT water and utilities market.
What you’ll bring to the team
You are an established leader with proven experience in the water and utilities sector, including leading a substantial business, portfolio or major program of significant scale, ideally $200M to $300M+, with full accountability for performance, growth and delivery.
You bring a strong track record of winning work, delivering complex infrastructure projects and leading high-performing teams, with a clear focus on commercial discipline, delivery performance and operational excellence.
You are well connected across the NSW and ACT infrastructure market and bring trusted relationships with clients, partners and industry stakeholders. You understand client priorities and commercial drivers and know how to build long-term partnerships.
You are a values-led leader who builds strong, connected teams, leads with accountability and creates the environment for people and projects to succeed.
You bring the leadership maturity to influence at an executive level, navigate complex commercial and operational environments, and embed a culture grounded in safety, accountability, teamwork and disciplined delivery.
