MCA Engineering is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our friendly Finance team in Thornton. This is a permanent part-time position (3 days per week) with flexible hours available, and genuine opportunity to increase to full-time as our business continues to grow.
Your responsibilities

Managing Accounts Receivable including invoicing, statements, reconciliations and collections
- Tracking project costs, job costings submissions and variation registers
- Processing financial transactions using Xero and SimPRO (Experience with SimPRO is highly regarded, however training will be provided to the right candidate)
- Monitoring client purchase orders and project billing
- Supporting project managers with financial information
- Assisting the Finance team with general administration
You'll be successful if you have:

Experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role
- Strong working knowledge of Xero or similar accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience with job costing, project administration or SimPRO will be highly regarded.
