We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Services Operator to join our team in Gladstone, based at our Fisherman’s Landing site.
Reporting to the Team Leader – Production Services, you'll play an important role in supporting our manufacturing operations. Working closely with our Production and Maintenance teams, you'll operate mobile equipment, maintain a safe and tidy site, and gain exposure to a variety of plant activities.
This is a Monday to Friday day shift position, with some after-hours requirements. There are also opportunities to increase your earnings through overtime, shift coverage and occasional weekend work.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out housekeeping activities, including cleaning spills, sweeping and shovelling to maintain a safe and efficient work environment and preparing plant for maintenance activities.
- Operating and monitoring mobile equipment
- Operating the bagging shed (as required)
- Conducting relief shift coverage as required (including but not limited to laboratory testing and sample analysis)
- Supporting the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and site services

As you progress and build your skills and knowledge, you'll move through corresponding pay levels, recognising your growth and development.
What You’ll Bring
- A strong safety focus, ideally with previous experience in a similar work environment
- Good communication skills with demonstrated problem-solving abilities
- Leading hand experience within a manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential)
- Physical fitness and the ability to complete manual labour duties
- The ability to diagnose faults and identify potential solutions
- Experience with isolations and permit issuing systems
- Experience operating mobile plant equipment (beneficial)
- The ability to perform laboratory sample testing on a relief basis
- SAP system knowledge (desirable)
- Flexibility to make yourself available for our scheduled shutdowns
Ideally, you will also hold one or more of the following tickets/licences:
- HRW Licence - Forklift
- MR / HR Licence
- Bridge & Gantry / Materials and/or Personnel Hoist Operations (desirable)
- Skid Steer
- Confined Space Entry
- High pressure water jetting tickets (desirable)
