Melbourne Commercial Carpentry is seeking experienced Carpenters to join our growing team delivering commercial construction projects across Melbourne.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Construction and installation of timber and lightweight steel framing
- Installation of wall and ceiling systems
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Measuring, cutting and assembling building materials
- Installation of doors, windows and associated hardware
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with plans, specifications and safety requirements
- Working effectively within a team environment on commercial construction projects
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years relevant carpentry experience
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Desirable
- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification
- Experience on commercial construction projects
- EWP, Working at Heights or other relevant tickets
