Description:
The Regional Manager is responsible for managing staff and resources to ensure operational and contractual compliance for Bamara in our Inclusive Employment Australia program. This role will be based out of our Newcastle office and will cover Wollongong, Hastings, Keep it and Broken Hill regions.
The Regional Manager will oversee and manage the people management strategies, change processes and continuous improvement of Bamara programs and services. They will identify and promote new ways of working to empower staff to deliver on the strategic business plan, create new business opportunities as well as drive the implementation of new programs and ongoing performance in Bamara. The Regional Manager supports Bamara to meet and exceed operational and financial targets by developing and implementing strategies to reach and exceed our business plan.
Skills and Experiences:
- Proven experience in a senior position within the Employment Services industry
- Strong business acumen to quickly learn how the business works and how to utilise strategies and tactics to achieve business objectives
- Strong ability to comfortably work towards KPI's and targets in order to meet and exceed performance and financial objectives
- Inspiring, encouraging, and motivating others with leadership by example
- Strategic thinking skills and the ability to provide strategic advice, develop options, analyse risks, make good judgements, and solve problems
- High Level verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- IT skills including working experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to develop highly effective working relationships by building credibility, respect and rapport with internal and external networks
- Excellent negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills
- Extensive understanding of ISO, NSDS, QAF and ASQA standards, Department of Jobs and Small Business Guidelines and Deeds
- Certificate IV in Employment Services (preferred but not essential)
- Proven experience working with government contractual obligations and guidelines
- Must pass and have a current Police Check (ongoing requirement for employment)
- Must pass and have a current Working with Children Check and/or Vulnerable Persons Check (ongoing requirement for employment)
