Checker Bookkeeping is a small, family run bookkeeping business based in Penrith.
We support a portfolio of clients locally and throughout the wider Sydney area with all aspects of Bookkeeping services.

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
You will work closely with the business owner who will provide ongoing training and support and will be part of a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Xero and/or MYOB based Bookkeeping
*Accounts Payable
- Entering supplier invoices or importing from Hubdoc
- Ensuring accuracy of invoice coding
- Checking supplier statements
- Batching of supplier invoices for payment
*Bank Reconciliations
- Daily reconciliations of multiple bank accounts for clients
*Payroll
- Weekly payroll
- Entering timesheets
- Processing pay runs
- Emailing payslips
- Managing leave requests
About you:
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Bookkeeper
- Xero and/or MYOB experience, including payroll
- Ideally live in the Penrith NSW area
- Details-focused with a passion for numbers
- Capacity to manage various deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Australian payroll employer compliance obligations and GST
Qualifications:
- Accounting/Bookkeeping qualification at Tafe or University
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping
