Embrace Community Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our growing team in Ballarat, Victoria.
As a Team Leader, you will provide leadership and support to Disability Support Workers while ensuring participants receive high-quality, person-centred services. You will play a key role in coordinating supports, mentoring staff, maintaining compliance, and promoting positive outcomes for participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and support Disability Support Workers
- Coordinate participant supports and service delivery
- Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with NDIS standards
- Assist with staff training, onboarding, and performance management
- Maintain accurate records, incident reports, and documentation
- Build positive relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders
- Support rostering and day-to-day operational requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in a leadership or senior support worker role within the disability sector
- Strong understanding of the NDIS and person-centred practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
