Verde Infinito Alfresco Pizzeria — Smithfield NSW
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join the Verde Infinito team.
This is an important role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. You'll be responsible for preparation, cleaning, organisation and supporting the pizza section and kitchen team during service and during our growth phase.
Your responsibilities
- Preparing fresh ingredients for service
- Washing, cutting and portioning ingredients
- Assisting with general kitchen preparation
- Supporting the pizza making section when needed
- Restocking ingredients and supplies
- Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Cleaning benches, floors and kitchen areas
- Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen
- Taking rubbish and recycling to the appropriate areas
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
Essential criteria
- Good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene
- Reliable and punctual
- Hardworking
- Able to work quickly and efficiently
- Good attention to detail
- Positive attitude
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen
- Able to follow instructions and work well within a team
- Must be available on Friday and Saturday
Desirable criteria
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential
- Knowledge of italian and italian cuisine
- Pizza making skills
This role is suited to someone who understands that a clean, organised kitchen is essential to great food and service.This role is our position with the most growth potential.
