Liverpool Hospital is the major health service for South Western Sydney providing services to the local government area of Liverpool City Council as well as district services to residents and visitors in the area. Join a dedicated Interventional Imaging team where you will play a key role in delivering advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that make a real difference to patient outcomes. Working in a dynamic and highly specialised environment, you will contribute your expertise to the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care, support service excellence, and help drive continuous improvement across the department.
In this role, you will:

Provide a high quality Interventional Imaging service to patients and carers of SWSLHD and to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for patients of the service, using current and up to date safety standards.

Demonstrate independent and appropriate professional knowledge and judgement to acquire and exhibit competency in all clinical and diagnostic tasks.

Perform Interventional Imaging services (CT and DSA) as requested whilst providing junior staff with experienced imaging skills support.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiographer who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a collaborative and progressive medical imaging service. In this senior role, you will bring advanced clinical expertise, sound professional judgement, and a commitment to supporting staff development and continuous service improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

A Degree in Medical Imaging (or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA), current registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia, and a current NSW EPA Radiation Licence.

Advanced clinical knowledge and leadership skills, with the ability to independently perform a broad range of clinical procedures, provide education and assessment of students and radiographers, and contribute to the development and implementation of departmental protocols and procedures.

A strong patient-centred approach, consistently delivering high-quality care while demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and effective decision-making in a busy clinical environment.

Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively and build positive working relationships with managers, multidisciplinary teams, referrers, patients, families, and external stakeholders.
