We are looking for Stewards to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

We're looking for Stewards who are hands on and who know what it takes to support a busy kitchen operation.

Reporting to the Chief Steward, you will support the Food and Beverage operation of the Resort by:

Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and the premises, whilst maintaining hygienic standards and practices.

Cleaning and sanitising of all kitchen areas, rubbish removal, cardboard recycling, dish wash operation, manual pot washing and cleaning
Working independently, and as part of a cohesive team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction are maintained
Plan daily tasks effectively to ensure maximum productivity and smooth operations
Uphold WH&S, food safety, HACCP, and safe manual handling standards at all times
Foster strong teamwork and clear communication across F&B and other departments
Oversee cleanliness and organisation of kitchens, back-of-house areas, storage, and loading bays
Support kitchen operations, including food preparation and ensuring equipment is functional and hygienic
Manage stock control, inventory accuracy, stocktakes, and timely invoice processing
Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers, couriers, and service partners
Provide operational support across departments as required and contribute to a safe, sustainable workplace

What we need from you:

We’re seeking enthusiastic team players with:

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience in large-scale operation such as hotels, resorts, or high-volume restaurants is particularly valued
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical strength to lift, push, or pull objects up to 23kg
Food Safety Certification
Must have a right to work in Australia
A safety-first mindset and commitment to following health and safety protocols.
In addition, you must hold the appropriate work rights to work in Australia.
