Details: The Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate (CMTEDD) is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our Economic Development Division as Executive Group Manager, Policy and Strategy.
This senior executive position plays a pivotal role in shaping the ACT’s economic future. The successful applicant will lead the development of integrated, whole-of-government economic policy initiatives, provide strategic direction on programs that diversify the ACT economy, and foster a vibrant community that attracts and retains talent.
Reporting to the Deputy Director-General, you will oversee key areas including:

Innovation, trade, investment and business development

Tertiary education and skills policy

Tourism and major events
-
Arts and culture

Strategic policy and ministerial coordination

Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $363,688 - $374,925 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $321,056.
Contract: The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years. Prospective applicants should be aware that long-term engagements are tabled in the ACT Legislative Assembly.
