Surface Care is Sydney and Melbourne's leading surface repair specialist. We fix what most people think must be thrown out: scratched timber floors, chipped stone benchtops,
damaged laminate and worn furniture. We repair, we never replace.
We are building our first in-house team of Surface Repair Technicians, and we are hiring in Sydney.

What you will do
- Repair timber, laminate, stone, composite and furniture surfaces on site
- Colour and grain match, so repairs disappear into the surface
- Work in customers' homes and businesses, representing the brand
- Keep your vehicle, tools and workspace clean and organised
Who we are looking for
You do not need surface repair experience. We train you, and you are paid while you learn. What matters is a steady hand, an eye for detail and plenty of patience.
Good backgrounds include french polishing, cabinet making and furniture restoration. Painting, panel and paint, and stonemasonry all work too. So does any precise trade or hobby. Recent trade graduates are welcome.
What you will need
- A current Australian driver licence
- The right to work full-time in Australia
- Willingness to complete a national police check, as you will be working in customers' homes
An honest word on the work
It is detailed and hands-on. Expect close-up focus, some kneeling and lifting, and work with fillers and finishes in the right safety gear. If you like being busy with your hands, you will love it.
Pay: $80,000.00 per year
