Our Role
Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking an organised and motivated People & Culture Administrator to join our team and provide administrative support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
Working with a friendly and energetic team, reporting to the People & Culture Manager, this is an opportunity for someone looking to build their HR career, gain exposure across a broad range of People & Culture activities and contribute to creating a positive employee experience.
The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting our people and leaders. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding.
- Managing the People & Culture inbox and respond to employee enquiries.
- Preparing employment documentation and maintain accurate employee records in HR systems (document management system and HRIS – Employment Hero).
- Supporting payroll administration through accurate and timely processing of employee data.
- Preparing routine reports and maintain HR data to support compliance and operational requirements.
- Contributing to People & Culture projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring all activities are completed in line with organisational policies, legislation, and privacy requirements.
About you
You are looking to build your career in Human Resources and are eager to apply your skills while learning and growing in a supportive People & Culture team.
As someone who enjoys people contact you will thrive in this role if you have:
- A qualification in Human Resource Management or a related field (or are currently studying).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record management.
- Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-focused approach.
- Confidence in Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems (e.g. Employment Hero), or the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Confidence and an approachable demeanour
- A passion and willingness to learn Australian employment legislation, payroll and WHS requirements.
