3Sixty5 Care is currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Female Disability Support Worker to support a participant living with an Acquired Brain Injury, also known as ABI.
This role is suited to someone who is patient, calm, respectful, and confident in supporting a participant with complex care needs. The successful applicant will provide meaningful day-to-day support, promote independence, assist with daily living tasks, and help improve the participant’s overall quality of life.
Client Matching Preference
Due to the participant’s personal care needs and comfort, the participant has expressed a preference for a female support worker.
The participant also has a preference for a support worker with Chinese or Vietnamese cultural background or language skills, where possible, to support rapport, communication, and cultural understanding.

Qualifications and Skills
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability, Diploma in Community Services, Social Work qualification, Aged Care qualification, or equivalent is preferred
- Experience supporting people with disability, ABI, complex needs, or behaviours of concern is highly regarded
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be patient, empathetic, and able to handle difficult situations.
- Good physical health and stamina, able to perform necessary manual handling tasks
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist individuals with daily tasks and activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and mobility
- Supporting to do household tasks
- Develop support plans to suit individuals' needs and goals
- Encourage and facilitate community participation and independence
- Offer emotional support and companionship
- Maintain clear, honest, and regular communication with individuals and their families
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with client
Mandatory Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening check (5 years validity)
- First aid (valid for 3 years only)
- CPR (valid for 1 year only)
- COVID vaccine certificate
- Police Check (within 1 year only)
- Working with children check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Medication Management Certificate
- Valid Victorian Driver's License and reliable transportation (if applicable).
