About the Role
The Dakabin Youth Hub, based at Dakabin State High School and operated by Children's Health Queensland is a space for children, young people and families to access wraparound support for material basics, social and emotional wellbeing and health support, and to enhance learning and student engagement. The Hub endeavours to provide a safe space for young people to access a range of services in partnership with the school. Through engaging with the Hub, young people will be proactively supported to navigate the varied and complex life challenges.
Two part-time positions are available including:
HP4 Psychology - 0.5 FTE
HP4 Social Work or Occupational Therapist - 0.5 FTE
The positions of Senior Youth Health Clinician - Dakabin Youth Hub will:
Support the development of clinical services and activities to enhance the health and wellbeing of youth within the Dakabin State High School community.
Provide clinical services and support navigation through clinical and other services for youth accessing the Hub.
Support a trauma-informed, co-designed, low-barrier, early intervention youth hub.
Build and maintain strong relationships with young people, internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Work within and promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Children's Health Queensland and the Dakabin Youth Hub
