headspace Kempsey is operated by Samaritans Foundation and part of a national initiative to deliver improvements in the mental health, social wellbeing and economic participation of young people aged 12-25.
Working within a multidisciplinary team at our Kempsey Centre, you will focus on community capacity building, youth participation, community awareness and education and training activities designed to raise awareness and understanding of youth mental health. Applicants will need to be able to develop and/or link with a range of creative youth friendly programs and strategies that attract and engage young people.

Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline or extensive demonstrated experience in – health promotion, public health, social sciences, communication/marketing, education or youth work.
Excellent computer skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, internet, social media platforms, email and publishing software)
The successful applicant will possess or willingness to obtain the following: NSW Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First aid & CPR certificate, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate, and undertake a pre-employment functional medical.
