About the role:
CatholicCare’s Safer Families portfolio delivers a diverse range of Domestic and Family Violence Services across the Diocese of Broken Bay. The role overseas systemic service delivery including: Primary Prevention, Early Intervention & Men’s Behaviour Change and recovery-oriented services, providing a unique opportunity for the right candidate to work holistically to address gender-based violence.
Reporting to the Executive Manager, Integrated Services, your role provides strategic and operational leadership to support consistent service delivery, high-quality practice, and timely decision-making across the following programs:
Legal Aid –
Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service. (WDVCAS)
DCJ
– Staying Home Leaving Violence (SHLV)
DCJ
– Integrated Domestic Family Violence Service (IDFVS)
DCJ
- Domestic Family Sexual Violence (DFSV)
DCJ
– Keeping Women Safe In their Homes (KWSITH)
DCJ –
Safer Pathways (LSS) male victims service
DCJ –
Men’s Behaviour Change Program (MBCP)
DCJ, Grants and fee for service –
Respect Matters Primary Prevention Programs and training.
The role provides senior operational leadership across Integrated Services Domestic Violence Teams, ensuring the delivery of high quality, safe and culturally responsive support for those experiencing violence. This position is accountable for service performance and sustainability, including governance, contractual compliance, financial management, workforce capability and risk oversight and mitigation.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or related discipline.
- Minimum 3+ years Leadership and Management experience.
- Operational Oversight & Program Management.
- Workforce Capability & Supervision.
- Quality, Compliance & Risk Management.
- Financial & Contract Management.
- Stakeholder & Community Engagement.
- Compliance, Risk & Safeguarding.
- Tender writing experience with knowledge of grants and funding.
