We are looking for a reliable and experienced Diesel Mechanic / Dismantler to join our new branch at Rocklea, QLD . If you have strong mechanical knowledge, enjoy working with diesel vehicles and equipment, and take pride in your work, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Dismantling diesel trucks, engines, and machinery.
- Identifying, removing, and cataloguing reusable parts.
- Inspecting components for quality and resale suitability.
- Operating workshop tools and equipment safely.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workshop.
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assisting with parts inventory and stock control.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, or Dismantler.
- Sound knowledge of diesel engines and truck components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physically fit with a positive work ethic.
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
