We are seeking an experienced and passionate Christian educator to lead our Secondary Mathematics Department full time in 2027. This leadership role combines strategic oversight of the mathematics faculty with classroom teaching across Years 7-12.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Mathematics lessons that inspire students to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
- Lead teaching and learning within the Mathematics Department.
- Support, mentor, and develop Mathematics staff.
- Drive curriculum planning, assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyse student achievement data to improve outcomes.
- Actively support and positively contribute to the Christian mission, values, and culture of the College.
About You
The successful applicant will:
- Hold relevant teaching qualifications and QCT teacher registration.
- Demonstrate the ability to teach Mathematics across Years 7-12, including Senior General, Specialist and Methods mathematics.
- Strong curriculum knowledge and understanding of effective Mathematics pedagogy.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Have leadership experience or the capacity to lead a faculty team.
- Be committed to academic excellence and student wellbeing.
- Be a committed Christian, active in a local church, and in full agreement with the College’s Statement of Christian Beliefs (pastoral reference required).
