Welcome to the Property Team
The Woolworths Property group is accountable for all property undertakings for the organisation. It exists to provide comprehensive proactive property solutions to support Woolworths Retail businesses and their future growth.
What you’ll do
As Property Portfolio Manager you will bridge the gap between retail property management, store operations, and landlord relations to safeguard trading amenity and deliver optimal business outcomes.

Coordinate day-to-day property operations and occasional site visits across Queensland, ensuring landlord compliance with lease obligations, maintenance, and store amenity protection.

Execute key sustainability and amenity initiatives, including solar rollouts, EV charging implementations, shade sail installations, and recycling projects.

Negotiate favorable commercial outcomes, option exercises, and lease terms while building long-term, trusting relationships with landlords and centre managers.

Analyse property trends, demographics, and financial feasibility metrics to support new site selections, expansions, and store refurbishments.

Partner with internal teams to support evolving eCommerce fulfilment strategies.

Assist with landlord recovery processes and cost estimates to ensure repairs, replacements, and special project approvals are executed efficiently and within budget.
What you’ll bring

Degree qualified in Property, Business, Commerce, Facilities or related disciplines (or working towards)

Established authentic customer-centric focus and passion to improve the patronage of our businesses

Commercial experience and knowledge of the property market across retail management and retail development including an understanding of the issues that exist for both Landlords and Tenants

An eagerness to learn and develop within the field

Proficiency in financial modeling, business planning, budget management, and property feasibility evaluation

Exposure to the retail management and development environment.

Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills to achieve results and productive relations
