This role is ideal for uni students, for example, studying Education, Software Engineering, Video Game Development, etc. looking for hands-on experience working with kids while building confidence and skills in tech and leadership.
Is this you?:
Experienced working with kids aged 5 - 12
Passionate about tech and willing to learn our coding lesson plan
Able to work approx 3pm - 5pm once a week over 8 weeks at a school near you
Confident speaking in front of a group
Trustworthy, independent, punctual, and reliable
About the position:
Our Murrumbateman location runs Thursdays during Term 3 (other days of work are available for the right person)
You will be provided our fun easy-to-follow lesson plan to deliver to a small class of primary-aged children
Paid training provided as well as constant support from a our online tech-support team
Staff are required to supply their own Laptop and HDMI adapter for personal use
Required Skills/Certifications:
While we don’t require a specific degree, you should have some or all of the following:
Valid NSW Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain immediately)
Prior experience working kids (aged 5 - 12) is essential as this role involves leading a class
Tech-savvy, and can supply own laptop
Great customer service when speaking to school staff or parents
Fluent conversational English
