Position Description
We are seeking a dedicated and precision-driven Boilermaker to lead structural and fabrication tasks at our Bibra Lake facility and associated project sites. This full-time role is designed for a professional who can interpret technical drawings, execute advanced welding techniques with high precision, and maintain strict adherence to quality and workplace safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Welding Excellence: Perform high-precision MIG and stick welding, ensuring structural integrity and premium quality craftsmanship.
- Technical Interpretation: Read, analyse and accurately interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication schematics.
- Site & Pipe Preparation: Conduct onsite welding operations and pipe preparation, including heavy-duty grinding, beveling, and surface texturing.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all workshop and onsite activities strictly comply with workplace health and safety (WHS) standards and engineering regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow fabricators, project managers and team members to safely achieve project goals and meet tight production deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated background as a qualified boilermaker, structural fabricator or in an identical heavy manufacturing role.
- Drawing Literacy: Advanced ability to read, interpret, and work autonomously from technical drawings and engineering schematics.
- Core Competencies: Strong attention to structural detail, an uncompromised commitment to quality control, excellent problem-solving capabilities and clear communication skills.
Technical Skills
- FCAW Welding: Proficiency in Flux-Cored Arc Welding techniques.
- MIG Welding: Advanced capability in Metal Inert Gas welding.
- MMAW Welding: Proficiency in Manual Metal Arc Welding (Stick welding) processes.
- TIG Welding: Experience in Tungsten Inert Gas welding is highly regarded.
- Preparation Techniques: Competency in heavy-duty pipe preparation, structural grinding, and surface texture preparation.
Pay: $87,360.00 per year
