What you'll be doing
The position will manage and coordinate NSLHD Drug and Alcohol nursing services across the district providing leadership, financial management and professional nursing oversight for the entire NSLHD Drug and Alcohol. The manager works collaboratively with each of the district’s general hospital services, engaging and supporting effective communication and interfaces to facilitate positive working models.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

Current AHPRA Registration with authority to practice as a Registered Nursing Division 1. Recognised tertiary management qualification, or equivalent relevant post graduate clinical experience in drug and alcohol field, and / or a combination of study and extensive experience in drug and alcohol setting.

Must have demonstrated experience in managing nursing workforce, financial resources and administrative issues across a complex health environment.
Demonstrated evidence of achieving, innovative cultural change through implementing and evaluating, performance, policies and standards pertaining to clinical nursing services across a large site.
