Details: Are you an organised, proactive professional looking for an opportunity to showcase your executive support and coordination skills in a dynamic environment?
We have an exciting short-term opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and executive support within Events ACT.
In this role, you will work closely with senior executives, managing competing priorities and supporting the smooth operation of the branch. You will be responsible for coordinating executive workflows, managing correspondence, diaries, and meeting schedules, and ensuring high-quality administrative support is delivered in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing complex calendars, appointments, and meeting arrangements

Coordinating correspondence, briefings, and records management processes

Preparing meeting papers, agendas, and minutes

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of executives

Supporting governance, reporting, and administrative processes

Providing high-quality advice and support to ensure the efficient operation of the branch
This role would suit someone with exceptional organisational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Experience supporting senior executives within the ACT Public Service or a similar environment will be highly regarded.

Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
This position has moved to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
