The Role
As a Shift Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the restaurant during your shift and creating an exceptional experience for both our customers and team.
You'll be hands-on in the operation, ensuring every burger, fry and shake meets Five Guys standards while motivating and coaching the crew to deliver great service every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage shifts to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Coach, motivate and support team members on shift
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues professionally
- Maintain high food safety, cleanliness and quality standards
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Support training and development of crew members
- Drive a positive team culture and lead by example
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in hospitality, quick-service restaurants, or food service leadership
- Experience supervising or leading a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and people skills
- A hands-on approach and willingness to lead from the front
- A passion for delivering great food and customer experiences
- Reliability, energy and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
