Are you passionate about water safety, customer service, and working in a fun, active environment? We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and community-focused Pool Lifeguards / Pool Attendants / Swim Teachers. As a Pool Lifeguard, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our community while delivering exceptional customer service in a welcoming aquatic environment.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing continuous pool supervision to ensure patron safety.
- Responding to emergencies, rescues, and first aid incidents.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming aquatic facility.
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures.
- Monitoring water quality and facility presentation.
- Delivering excellent customer service and promoting safe pool practices.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Current Royal Life Saving Society Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
- HLTAIDO11 Provide First Aid Statement of Attainment updated every 3 years.
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Statement of Attainment updated every year.
- A current NSW Working with Children Check.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Applicants must be 16 years of age or over
- Availability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, public holidays, after school and school holidays, during the Christmas New Year break
- A current class C drivers’ licence for applicants 17 years and over (includes provisional licence).
What We Offer
- All Uniforms & PPE supplied.
- Salary Range -Lifeguards/Pool Attendant – Grade 4 $38.18 to $41.23 per hour inclusive of 25% casual loading.
- Salary Range – Supervising Lifeguard – Swim Teacher – Grade 7 $40.98 to $44.19 per hour inclusive of 25% casual loading.
- 25% loading applies to work performed on a Saturday.
- 50% loading applies to work performed on a Sunday.
- First Aid Allowance of $18.80 per week.
