We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Transport Manager to join the Kraft Heinz family, based out of our Melbourne, Australia office location!

Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Lead the Australian transport network end-to-end, balancing strategic planning with day-to-day operational delivery.
- Coordinate national stock movements across manufacturing sites, contract packers, third-party logistics providers, and company-operated warehouses.
- Monitor transport spend and identify opportunities to improve cost-to-serve across the network.
- Maintain accurate carrier rates, ensuring rates are validated, reconciled, and kept up to date in relevant systems.
- Manage transport service providers to meet agreed service levels through daily performance management and regular reviews.
- Oversee transport management processes, including transport execution/fulfilment and carrier performance reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (including New Zealand transport, supply planning, customer logistics, procurement, and customer service) to support seamless supply and delivery outcomes.
- Provide transport and distribution input into strategic planning activities, including network and service improvements.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable safety, security, environmental, and transport regulatory requirements.
Coordinate sourcing and procurement activities for transport services and related materials, including supplier selection, price and contract negotiations, and cost-reduction initiatives.

About you:
- Tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a similar logistics role within an FMCG environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with strong capability in Microsoft Access (or similar database tools).
- Experience using inventory management systems (e.g., BPCS or equivalent ERP platforms).
- Strong physical and financial planning and forecasting capability, with sound commercial judgement.
- Proven ability to analyse data, make decisions, and manage budgets with an understanding of cost and financial impact.
- Demonstrated process improvement experience, with a track record of driving operational performance outcomes.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, strong customer focus, and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
