Bene Aged Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Driver - Mini Bus (8-10 Seater) to join our Community Services team on a casual basis across metropolitan Adelaide.
This rewarding role supports older people to maintain their independence and social connections by providing safe and reliable transport to appointments, centre-based activities and community outings.
You will be responsible for operating a Bene mini bus, ensuring passengers are transported safely, comfortably and respectfully while delivering exceptional customer service.
Roster: Monday to Friday, 21.5 hours per week. Morning transport runs from 8:30am to 10:30am (Monday & Friday) and 8:30am to 11:00am (Tuesday to Thursday), with afternoon transport runs from 2:00pm to 4:00pm each weekday.

Transport clients to appointments, centre-based activities and social outings

Assist clients to safely enter and exit the vehicle where required

Support older people to maintain independence and social connections

Complete vehicle safety checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness

Follow client support plans and organisational procedures

Maintain accurate records and incident reporting documentation

Liaise with coordinators regarding transport schedules and client requirements

Adhere to all road safety requirements and safe driving practices

Deliver professional, respectful and customer-focused service at all times
You are caring, dependable and enjoy working with older people. You have excellent driving skills, a professional approach and strong customer service abilities.

Current unrestricted South Australian Driver's Licence

Demonstrated safe driving record

Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

Previous experience driving a mini bus or passenger vehicle

Previous experience in aged care, community services or disability services

Experience transporting clients or consumers

Good knowledge of metropolitan Adelaide roads and suburbs

Italian language skills highly regarded
