Job Description
As Director of Revenue, you will collaborate and guide other departments to optimize our revenue performance and achieve our business goals. Reporting directly to the Hotel General Manager you will formulate and execute revenue strategies for our hotels, collaborate with the executive team on long-term business plans, develop our revenue community of practice internally and externally, and identify and inspire talent growth. You will prioritize recognition, comprehensive support and career development amongst your team, and receive the same in turn as you grow your career as a Heartist.
You will:

Lead the revenue management approach and develop robust revenue strategies.

Support the Executive Team in developing long-term business plans and manage the revenue management budget process.

Lead the weekly Revenue Management meetings, providing insights based on performance data.

Develop topline revenue forecasts and actively seek opportunities to drive incremental profit across all revenue centers of the business.

Conduct regular performance reviews and optimize pricing and inventory.

Mentor, coach and develop colleagues and leaders in revenue management practices.

Drive initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and sustainability efforts.

Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and front office teams to achieve revenue goals.

Ensure reservations are optimised by coordinating with the reservations team.

Grow market share within your competitive set and ensure all systems are adequately used to optimize RevPAR.

Develop an evolving culture of understanding and best practice in the changing distribution landscape, including online travel agencies and distribution networks.

Maintain data quality and system integrity across the Revenue Management and Distribution applications, platforms, and tools used by the hotel.
Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in senior revenue management roles.

Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of getting the best out of people and driving high-performance.

Exceptional analytical skills and ability to make strategic decisions that enhance revenue growth.

Advanced knowledge of revenue management principles.

IDeaS Revenue Management Platform experience highly desirable.

In-depth knowledge of the distribution landscape, online travel agencies, and emerging market trends.

A collaborative forward-thinking mindset with a passion for elevating revenue management as a respected and valued community of practice with key internal and external stakeholders.
