We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Bar/Venue Supervisor to join our close-knit, high-performing team. Working closely with and reporting directly to our Beverage Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading our floor and bar operations. Key Responsibilities
1. In-Service & Floor Leadership
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and support a team of 5–10 staff members per shift, coordinating service flow, staff breaks, and task execution.
- Guest Experience: Deliver elite customer service, manage reservations (OpenTable), handle table turnovers, waitlists, and interact with guests for feedback.
- Service Execution: Oversee daily setups/closing checklists, take orders with a focus on upselling, handle premium stock, and manage cash/EFTPOS reconciliations.
2. Back of House & Administration
- Operations: Manage staff rostering, process timesheets, and handle end-of-night takings.
- Stock & Financials: Oversee beverage ordering, invoice processing, POS management (Abacus), and monthly stocktakes to hit financial targets.
- Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to RSA, Food Safety, CCTV monitoring, incident registers, and local council/police venue requirements.
3. Staff Development
- Partner with upper management to design and execute staff progression plans.
- Mentor and train team members to improve their product knowledge, selling capabilities, and operational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of Supervisory experience and 3+ years in high-end hospitality/customer service (Bartender/Waitstaff background preferred).
- Skills: Proficient in administrative tools (Excel, ClickUp) and industry systems (Abacus BOH, OpenTable preferred).
- Compliance: Solid understanding of liquor regulations, RSA, and plan of management guidelines.
- Attributes: A confident, highly organized communicator who leads by example and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
