About the Role
As the Repairs Delivery Team Lead, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of repair jobs, ensuring every repair is completed safely, on time and right the first time.
Leading a team of repair coordinators, dispatch and support personnel, you will oversee workflow planning, resource allocation, scheduling and customer communication while driving operational excellence across repair activities. Your leadership will help optimise turnaround times, enhance service delivery and support Metso's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction..
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of repair jobs from intake through to completion and customer delivery
Manage workflow planning, job prioritisation and resource allocation to meet service commitments
Monitor and improve turnaround times, backlog performance and delivery accuracy
Lead, coach and develop a team of repair coordinators, dispatch staff and support personnel
Act as the primary escalation point for customer issues, ensuring timely and professional resolutions
Coordinate repair scheduling, logistics, dispatch and workshop activities across multiple stakeholders
Ensure repair records, documentation and reporting are accurate, compliant and up to date
Verify completed repairs meet technical, quality and customer requirements before release
Investigate repeat repairs, returns and service issues, implementing corrective actions where required
Analyse operational performance data and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Champion compliance with Metso's safety, quality and operational standards
What You'll Bring
Demonstrated experience in service delivery, repair operations, production, workshop or workflow management environments
Proven leadership experience managing and developing operational teams
Strong ability to balance competing priorities and manage high-volume workflows
Experience using operational data and performance metrics to drive decision-making and process improvement
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service outcomes
Understanding of repair management, logistics, inventory management or service operations
Knowledge of quality systems, safety practices and operational compliance requirements
