- Senior leadership across a regional Disability portfolio
- Drive quality, compliance and outcomes across multiple programs
- Monthly RDO - an extra 12 days of leave per year
Every service you lead touches the life of someone who depends on it. That's not a responsibility to take lightly, it's the reason you show up and lead the way you do.
As Regional Manager with Kanda, you'll hold senior strategic and operational leadership across a regional portfolio, accountable for service quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance and the capability of the people delivering care on the ground.
You'll set the standard for what person-centred, rights-based practice looks like across multiple sites, ensuring everything we do reflects the NDIS Practice Standards, relevant legislation and the values that sit at the heart of Kanda.
This is leadership that means something. You're close enough to the work to feel its impact, senior enough to shape its direction and values-led enough to know that how you show up every day sets the tone for everything that follows.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading, coaching and developing Service Managers across the region, including performance management, succession planning and capability uplift
- Developing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with government departments, the NDIS Commission, funding bodies, families and community stakeholders
- Representing Kanda at regional forums, partnership meetings and community engagements
- Collecting, analysing and presenting regional data to inform executive decision-making
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across supported accommodation settings to ensure environments are safe, well-maintained and compliant
- Managing service agreements, SIL agreements and funding arrangements across the regional portfolio
- Monitoring and reporting on KPIs, action plans and risk management frameworks relevant to the region
- Maintaining accurate documentation and data in line with organisational policies, legislative requirements and audit standards
- Contributing to and leading relevant team and management meetings, ensuring actions are followed through
- Upholding and championing Kanda's values, code of conduct and a culture of ethical, person-centred practice across all areas of responsibility
You're the Right Person If...
- You bring senior leadership experience within the disability sector, ideally across a regional or multi-site portfolio
- You have a strong understanding of the NDIS Act, NDIS Practice Standards and the regulatory landscape and know how to lead a team through it
- You're financially literate and confident managing budgets, funding utilisation and performance reporting across multiple services
- You lead with integrity, hold yourself and others to a high standard and build cultures of accountability and respect
- You're a skilled people leader who can develop and uplift managers, navigate complex HR matters and support teams through challenge with confidence
- You have experience managing SIL or SDA service agreements or are ready to hit the ground running in this space
- You've prepared for or managed NDIS Commission audits and understand what compliance looks like at an operational level
- You're comfortable working with data collecting, analysing and presenting insights that drive real decision-making at an executive level
- You have experience with change management, particularly leading teams through new systems, structures or standards
- You hold or are willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and any other relevant compliance requirements
