THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a Senior Remediation Technician to join us on a contractor basis. This is a hands-on role where you'll run jobs independently — but you won't be thrown in alone. You'll work closely with our team to help shape how we operate, contribute input on equipment, supplies and site logistics, and play a real part in building something from the ground up.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Conducting on-site mould assessments and moisture investigations
- Setting up and managing containment zones to IICRC S520 standards
- Performing mould remediation — surface treatment, HEPA vacuuming, removal of affected materials
- Completing job documentation, photo records and post-remediation sign-off
- Liaising professionally with residential and commercial clients on-site
- Providing input on equipment needs, consumables and site supplies as we build out our operations
- Supporting clearance inspections where required

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years hands-on mould remediation or water damage restoration experience
- Strong knowledge of containment, negative air, HEPA filtration and safe work practices
- Valid ABN (contractor engagement)
- Own transport — we operate across Greater Newcastle, Hunter Valley and surrounds
- Physically fit, comfortable working in PPE
- Professional presentation and clear client communication
Preferred:
- IICRC certification — WRT, AMRT or CMP highly regarded
- Experience with post-remediation verification and clearance documentation
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Experience working to insurance or body corporate scopes
- Own basic kit (PPE, moisture meters, etc.)
