Industrial Cleaner – Thomastown | 2 Weekday Shifts
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to join our team at an industrial site in Thomastown.
This position is best suited to someone who takes pride in their work, follows safety procedures carefully, communicates well and values consistency.
Position Details
Location: Thomastown, VIC
Days: Two weekdays per week
Hours: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Start: Immediate
Key Responsibilities
- Specialist cleaning of designated industrial areas where silica-containing dust may be present, using approved cleaning methods and equipment
- Vacuum cleaning using designated dust-control equipment
- Waste removal and general cleaning
- Maintaining the presentation of allocated areas
- Following site-specific safety procedures, SWMS and instructions
- Other related cleaning duties as directed
What We're Looking For
- Previous commercial or industrial cleaning experience preferred
- Strong reliability and punctuality
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions
- Ability to work independently and maintain consistent standards
- Good communication and a professional attitude
- Police check, or willingness to obtain one
- Willingness to undertake required site induction and training
Important
Consistent attendance and accountability are essential for this position.
All required training, site-specific instructions and appropriate PPE will be provided. Employees are required to follow the prescribed dust-control and cleaning procedures at all times.
All shifts are recorded through our timekeeping system, and clear communication regarding attendance and availability is required.
Pay: $40.00 per hour
