Are you an experienced MC Driver looking to take the next step into the mining and resources sector?
MLG Oz is seeking expressions of interest from motivated drivers across Australia who are interested in joining our future New to Industry - Road Train Operator Trainee Program.
This is your opportunity to register your interest in a structured training pathway designed to develop the skills, knowledge, and experience required to become a Road Train Operator within the mining industry.
As we expand our workforce, we're assessing interest across different regions to determine future assessment centre locations and program intakes.

As part of this Expression of Interest process, shortlisted applicants may be invited to attend a full-day assessment centre in a major city or regional location near them.
Assessment centre locations and dates are currently being determined based on demand and candidate interest.
The assessment day may include:
- Information session about MLG Oz and the training program
- One-on-one interview with our Recruitment Team
- Group activities
- Opportunity to learn more about a career with MLG Oz
To be considered, you will have:
- Current Australian MC Class Driver's Licence
- Minimum 12 months experience operating a truck and trailer combination
- Interest in FIFO work, including day and night shifts
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Full Australian working rights
- Strong commitment to safety
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Be among the first considered for future trainee intakes
