We're looking for enthusiastic, caring casual educators to join our supportive team, working before school, after school, and during vacation care.
Our service has been operating for more than
15 years as part of the
Petrie Parish Catholic Community and cares for up to 90 children. Our educators embrace an ‘
after school care family approach’, meaning that we all care for and look after one another and we have a strong relationship with all children and families.

A Day in the Life of an Educator...
- Provide safe, caring, and interactive supervision of children
- Model and support positive interactions with children
- Build genuine, positive relationships with the local community
- Foster positive interactions with and support for parents and families
- Assist in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of programs consistent with current legislation and frameworks
- Participate as a team member by maintaining positive working relationships
- Adhere to and promote all regulations, policies, and procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement processes
- Be actively involved in your own professional and personal development
- Support and follow all reasonable workplace instructions
Job Requirements:
- Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in an ACEQA approved qualification (preferred)
- Hold a current Blue Card and First Aid/CPR including Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willing to obtain)
- Hold (or are willing to complete) Child Safety Training certificate
- Effective workplace communication skills
- Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoon availability desirable.
