Position Available: PCA – Social Support (One-off Shift)
We are seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support a client with a social support outing.
Client Details:
- Female client, located in Wongarbon (near Dubbo)
- Uses a walker
- Staff member is required to stay with the client at all times
Shift Details:
- Date: Tuesday, 7 July
- Time: Pick up at 9:30 am
- Duration: 2 hours
- Type: One-off Social Support shift
Service Outline:
- Pick up client from Killarney, 13L Barbigal Road, Wongarbon
- Transport client to Allied Health Medical Centre, 42 Bultje St, Dubbo
- Stay with client throughout appointment
- Return/support as required
Important Notes:
- Must be confident supporting a client with mobility aid (walker)
- Clear communication and reliability essential

- Certificate 3 In Aged care or Individual support.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient personality
Working Conditions: PCAs may work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and private residences. The work may involve standing or walking for extended periods, and may require lifting or moving clients. PCAs may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the needs of their clients.
