Cafe and Restaurant Manager – Key Duties
- overseeing daily operations of the cafe and ensuring efficient service delivery
- managing staff rosters, supervision and performance
- recruiting, training and onboarding staff members
- monitoring labour costs and operational performance
- maintaining customer service standards and resolving customer issues
- managing stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
- ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures
- coordinating front of house and kitchen operations
- assisting with budgeting, cost control and financial reporting
- implementing and monitoring operational procedures and policies
- assisting with marketing, promotions and business development initiatives
- ensuring the venue is presented and maintained to company standards
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 12 months' experience in a hospitality management or supervisory role.
- Demonstrated experience managing staff, rostering and day-to-day venue operations.
- Strong customer service, leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with stock control, ordering and supplier management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment and maintain high operational standards.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
