About the Role
We are seeking a caring and reliable Support Worker – Domestic Assistance to join our team in the Woy Woy area. This role focuses on assisting clients with household tasks to help them maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
Key Responsibilities
- General household cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, bathrooms, and kitchens
- Laundry, ironing, and changing bed linen
- Meal preparation and basic food assistance
- Grocery shopping and essential errands
- Maintaining a safe and hygienic home environment
- Providing friendly, respectful support while encouraging client independence
- Reporting any concerns regarding client wellbeing to the care team
About You
You are:
- Compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy
- Well organised with excellent time management skills
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Friendly with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about supporting people to remain independent in their own homes
Previous experience in home care, aged care, disability support, or domestic assistance is highly regarded but not essential.
Essential Requirements
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- Full Australian working rights
