R & S Auto is on the lookout for a qualified Motor Mechanic to join our fast-paced, well-established workshop in Greensborough.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of passenger vehicles.
- Carry out engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, and cooling system repairs.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and identify safety or mechanical issues.
- Replace and repair worn or defective components using manufacturer specifications.
- Complete timing belt/chain replacements, clutch repairs, and engine rebuilds where required.
- Perform wheel alignments, suspension upgrades, and brake repairs.
- Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs and ensure quality workmanship.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete repair documentation.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet daily productivity targets.
- Provide high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1 years' post-qualification experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience working on Japanese, European, and Australian vehicles is highly regarded.
- Current driver's licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
