Join our forward thinking Marketing Operations team as our Research and Creative Insights Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of marketing effectiveness at Greenstone.
The Research and Creative Insights Manager plays a pivotal role in providing business wide stakeholders with key insights and trends derived from in-depth analysis and interpretation of data from external market research studies and internal data. The primary focus will be on creative executions, products, brands, new markets, and competitor activity with the intent to enhance marketing effectiveness, gain a competitive advantage and drive overall performance.
You will be responsible for:
- Driving performance improvements by analysing creative executions across a range of mediums
- Leading comprehensive market research and insights programs to inform business decisions and support growth strategies
- Staying ahead of market dynamics by monitoring competitor activity and industry developments
- Driving innovation in research methodologies and continuously improve processes to enhance insight generation
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver data driven insights for strategic decision making
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, Psychology, or a related field
- 7+ years in a market research, insights, or data analysis role, ideally within the creative, marketing, financial services or insurance sector (agency or client side)
- Solid understanding of and proven experience conducting and managing end-to-end research projects, including qualitative, quantitative studies, competitor analysis etc.
- Solid and thorough understanding of the creative elements that drive marketing performance, with a demonstrated ability to analyse marketing creative and provide actionable recommendations for optimizing creative execution based on insights from analytic tools
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to derive meaningful and actionable insights from complex data sets and research findings
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
- Solid understanding of various research methodologies (surveys, focus groups, competitive analysis)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high level of accuracy and attention to detail to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder management experience, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritise and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, ensuring high-quality and timely research deliverables
- Well developed decision making, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects, navigate challenges, and drive continuous improvement
