We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Care Officers to support individuals living in residential care settings. This rewarding role involves providing day-to-day care, emotional support, and guidance to vulnerable individuals including children, young people, elderly persons, or people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and support to residents in accordance with individual care plans
- Assist with personal care, life skills, routines, and community participation
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive living environment
- Support residents with emotional wellbeing and behavioural needs
- Administer medication in line with policies and training
- Complete case notes, incident reports, and documentation accurately
- Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and support services
- Respond effectively to incidents, emergencies, and challenging behaviours
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Disability, Youth Work, Aged Care, or related field
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- A caring, professional, and resilient approach
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in residential care, disability support, youth work, or aged care
- Medication administration training
- Knowledge of trauma-informed and person-centred care practices
