About the Role
As a Mechanic Treatment Operator, this person will be responsible for the treatment and de-pollution of vehicles in an efficient and timely manner. They will also hold the responsibility of making sure the parts, like batteries, doors etc. are pulled safely. The employee must be a highly enthusiastic and driven individual who pays close attention to detail, who works well in a team environment for the position.
The hours for this position will be Monday to Friday with the possibility of Saturday work.
Weekly / Daily Duties
- Perform de-pollution and treatment of all vehicles
- To ensure all parts that are removed from vehicles, including all lose parts, ready for the next stage of the recycling
- To carry out all cleaning and maintenance as required
Responsibilities
- Making sure all treatment station checklists are completed safely and effectively
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role with proven results is a non negotiable - please do not apply if you do not have the experience
- Hold a current Australian driver’s licence
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Flexible and adaptable to handle high pressure situations, excellent time management, accompanied by a high level of resilience
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
