About the Role:
We are currently seeking a mature, experienced and dedicated Male Disability Support Worker to join our team in Bendigo. This casual position involves working closely with a young male child with Behaviours of Concern (BOC) that can include physical and verbal aggression. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours, the ability to implement behaviour support strategies effectively, and a calm, confident approach to challenging situations.
It is also essential that you can fit in well with the existing dynamic of workers in the home to ensure a consistent and supportive environment for the participant.
This is an in-person position based in Bendigo, Victoria. Applicants must currently reside in Australia and have unrestricted working rights. We are unable to consider overseas applicants or provide visa sponsorship.
Pay: $39.00 – $45.00 per hour
