About the Position
We are seeking a Practice Receptionist to join our busy and friendly team at our Blacktown Panorama practice. This is a permanent part-time position working Monday and Friday, with the potential for a third day (Tuesday) for the right candidate.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding patient experience, guided by our HEART Values Working in a fast-paced environment, your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and providing exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone.
- Scheduling appointments and managing the patient booking system.
- Accurately entering and maintaining patient information.
- Processing patient billing, invoicing and payments.
- Liaising with referring doctors and internal clinical teams as required.
- Supporting the smooth flow of patients throughout their visit while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems.

- The ability to prioritise competing tasks, multitask effectively and remain calm in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- The confidence to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team.

Previous experience in a patient-facing role within healthcare or medical reception will be highly regarded but is not essential.
