Two CIMIC Group companies, UGL and CPB Contractors have been selected by Transgrid to deliver the ~140km western section of the HumeLink high voltage electricity transmission project.
HumeLink is a new 500kV transmission project which will connect Wagga Wagga, Maragle and Bannaby in regional NSW that will significantly increase the capacity of the electricity network in Australia’s eastern states. HumeLink is one of Australia’s largest energy infrastructure projects, with about 365kms of proposed new transmission lines and a range of other new and upgraded infrastructure.
The HumeLink West scope of works, worth $1.4bn, includes delivery of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines spanning ~140kms from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new Substation at Gugaa, the Interface Point with HumeLink East near Gundagai and a new substation at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains for future connection to Snowy 2.0.
The Opportunity
This role will be based in Gregadoo, Wagga Wagga area for the duration of the project supporting the HumeLink West construction delivery team. To support local employment this role is being sourced in the Wagga Wagga area. The role will work Monday to Friday and may be required to work non-traditional hours in line with construction works.
Key Accountabilities
We are seeking an experienced Travel Coordinator to join the HumeLink West team. The position is responsible for:

Ensure efficient management administration procedures with respect to managing bookings, room allocations and dealing with any resident concerns.

Managing Travel booking and transport for FIFO workers.

Ensure that appropriate procedures are maintained for reporting and dealing with any maintenance issues.

Ensure the kitchen facilities meet or exceeded health and hygiene regulations and standards.

In conjunction with camp service provider ensure that rosters and work activities to ensure that all camp and messing activities are carried efficiently and to a high standard.

Providing administrative support to site management and construction crews.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who has a background in camp management or construction industry experience managing high volume travel and accommodation requirements.
About You
Previous experience in construction site administration or a similar fast-paced environment.- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management or finance systems. SAP experience desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
Where applicable, evidence of tertiary qualifications and proof of right to work will be required prior to successful appointment.
