MACA is seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join our team at the Karlawinda Gold Project. Situated in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, this significant gold mine is managed by Capricorn Metals and marks a major advancement in the regions mining activities. With a focus on sustainable and efficient extraction processes, Karlawinda success is driven by advanced mining techniques and a strong commitment to responsible mining practices.
At MACA, we're pioneering the future of mining operations with our ambitious autonomous truck project. This positions us as a leader in the innovative use of autonomous trucks within the mining industry.To support this groundbreaking advancement, we are expanding our team with new roles for employees to work safely in control rooms and provide vital operational support in the field. Currently, we have safety drivers on board to ensure smooth and secure operations, ready to intervene when necessary.
Our project, based in Karlawinda, is moving into an exciting new phase. We are transitioning to normal production operations, involving the loading of trucks and the testing of numerous new features. To facilitate this, we will have a dedicated excavator for loading materials. We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team and contribute to this transformative project. To be Successful in this Role, You Will Possess:
- Minimum 4 Years’ experience in a production mining open pit environment
- Liebherr 9200, PC1250 experience
- Highly motivated and the ability to work independently
- Have a “Can Do” attitude to safety
- Current WA drivers’ licence
