ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Mining Skills Australia is explicitly looking for a Department Manager with proven experience in a fast-paced environment, who will be responsible for managing all operational requirements of our Training Department.
The Training Manager will work with our other Departmental Managers to ensure the daily operations align with the strategic direction of the business, through collaboration of all business units under the direction of the Managing Director.

- Highly meticulous and have the vision to foresee and plan future projects seamlessly.
- Highly organised, immaculate attention to detail and self-motivated.
- Positive work ethics, strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
- Experience with writing / formatting Client Project Reports is highly desirable.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
As the Training Manager, you will be responsible for the overall accountability for the effective functionality and operations of the Training Department. In addition to that, the responsibilities include but are certainly not limited to the following:
- Organize and plan day to day activities based on the project plan.
- Establish deadlines and make sure that activities / projects are completed within the allocated timeframe.
- Meet clients' requirements in accordance with project evolution and send updates to all relevant stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Draft and submit proposals and tenders as required.
- Work with in client and departmental budgets.
- Manage projects inclusive of operational requirements and reporting requirements.
- In charge and responsible for departmental forecasts, budgets, monthly revenue targets and cost analysis reviews.
- Communicate the status of the project(s) regularly through weekly client focused meetings.
- Advising senior management on matters requiring attention and implementing the best solution to ensure business continuity and development.

Pay: $73,092.56 – $100,000.00 per year
